What you`ll do

Summary:
As a Software Engineer, you will join our agile team building SAP HANA CI/CD applications, serving more than 1500 developers. We leverage the strengths of Python and its ecosystem, most prominently flask for microservices and sqlalchemy for database design and access.

The Role:
You will architect, develop and operate powerful, configurable, and adaptable CI/CD services that scale for large business-critical products. Those services are built on top of an in-house execution platform that orchestrates containers across datacenters and public clouds. In this role, you will continuously improve our services with automation at every level, fault tolerance techniques, and a cloud-first mindset.

You will be successful in this role if you collaborate with peers and teams globally, support internal users, and commit to continuous learning.


What you bring

  • University degree in computer science or a related technical field involving software/systems engineering
  • Very good knowledge of Python
  • Understanding of transactional databases and SQL
  • Understanding of building or operating distributed systems
  • Basic Linux/Unix knowledge
  • Fluent in English, verbal and written (German is a plus)
